It’d Rather be Reading

I don’t think I ever truly realised how scary it’d be to finish uni. It feels great (or it should), I'm free, right? In reality I find myself a little lost; since I started education, year after year I knew exactly where I’d be. I liked that, I like a plan and I certainly LOVE knowing what happens next (yes, I'm a little bit of a control freak).

Wellpark Brewery

It’s always difficult to come back to reality after a weekend well spent and this one is even harder for me as we took it all the way to Monday. We decided to celebrate Valentine’s Day properly that day as Dom was working all weekend; we’re so hipster. On Sunday we woke up and exchanged... Continue Reading →

Christmasland

It’s the 20th of December, the Christmas tree is now up (and it’s real!) ready for all the festivities; house is cleaned, presents wrapped…but there is NO snow. I remember all the white Christmases and I just feel it’s such a shame we don’t have any whiteness outside our windows this year. Oh well, all... Continue Reading →

Change is coming

I can't believe how quickly time is passing. It's truly crazy. These past few weeks have been magical. I have absolutely nothing to complain about, I'm annoyingly happy. Time spent with Dom in Scotland was amazing; we had the best time. But again I feel like I don't want to say too much about it,... Continue Reading →

wanderlust nostalgia

Hello everyone, I miss travelling so much, I haven't been anywhere in what feels like forever! I think that's why my posts are getting more and more strange...here it is! This may seem like an odd post, but I thought a confession was in order. I would like to come clean about one thing...I am... Continue Reading →

Winter Wonderland

Welcome back in 2015 readers and fellow bloggers. Hope you all had a brilliant winter break and an easy welcome back into reality. Early in the morning of the 26th of December I headed to the airport to go on my last adventure of 2014- my destination was Poland. I moved to Scotland when I... Continue Reading →

Four days, three nights

I initially started out with a thought and a plan that I would write a diary entry each night I was in Paris but after the first night it became clear that it wouldn't happen as I had hardly enough energy to write to my boyfriend or family not to mention take notes; we made... Continue Reading →
